Et oui, déjà le dernier jour qui arrive ... :( Aujourd'hui, journée intense: lever à 6:30, départ à 7:00, bouchons à 7:30 et 8:00 pour enfin arriver à notre lieu de rendez-vous avec notre guide Juanito pour un tour dans les tunnels de lave.

On démarre par une petite marche de 30 minutes dans la forêt avec plein d'explications sur la coulée de lave et sur la végétation. On goute la cardamome, le poivre péi, etc ... Et enfin on arrive à la magnifique entrée du tunnel. On enfile les casques et on s'enfonce dans le tunnel: Plein de couleurs, et de formes. Génial :)

Yes, already the last full day arrives ...:( Today, intensive day: getting up at 6:30, start at 7:00, Traffic jam at 7:30 and 8:00 to finally arrive at the meeting point with our guide Juanito for a tour in the lava tunnels.

we start with a little walk of 30 minutes in the forest with a lot of explications about the lave streams and it's vegetation. We tasted cardamom, wild pepper, etc... finally we arrive at the magnificent entry of the tunnel. We put the helments on and let'd go... a lot of colors and forms, incredible :)

Ensuite, on prend la voiture, on fait 2-3 kilomètres et on repart pour 5 minutes de grimpette dans la végétation qui pousse sur la coulée de 1800 et on redescend dans un tunnel de lave. Mais cette fois avec gants et casque, car le sol n'est pas aussi lisse que dans le 1er tunnel et en plus, il y a des passages à 4 pattes.

After we took the car for a few kilometers and we restarted to walk for 5 minutes in the vegetation which grows on the lava stream of 1800 to get into another tunnel. This time with helmets and gloves as the ground is not that smooth as in the first tunnel. There are also some passages we had to crawl on all fours.

Ensuite un très bon déjeuner, super sympa au Vieux Port, et un café au Crabe sous la Varangue avec Juanito et Catherine.

Pour finir la journée en beauté, on monte à la Cascade Langevin. (je déteste cette route, très raide et très étroite...) La cascade est très jolie et pas à sec. :)

After that a very nice diner in 'le vieux port' and a coffee at 'Crabe sous la Varangue' with Juanito and Catherine.

To finish the day in beauty, we climbe to the waterfall Langevin (i hate this street, very steep and narrow...). The waterfall is very nice and not dry at all as some others :)
